Madwoman of God
A portrait of Marie de l'Incarnation through history, theology, theater, literature, music and dance. Born Marie Guyard in 1599, this young widow followed a mystical call, leaving everything behind to become a missionary in Nouvelle-France. Founder of the convent of the Ursulines in Quebec in 1639, she continued throughout her entire life a correspondence with her son, whom she left behind in France when he was 12 years old.
