In Montréal’s east-end, a group of over-grown kids, disappointed in their lives, spend their time hanging out on street corners, patronizing bars and frequenting seedy apartments and back alleys. Among them are two young women with sharply opposed morals who are probing their relationship to love. Ultimately, their mix of indolence and farcical antics reflects their rejection of the adult world. A self-produced movie shot over several years, André Forcier’s first feature bears the seeds of the filmmaker’s unique vision.
