Le Solitaire

Police Commissioner Stan Jalard (Jean-Paul Belmondo) is done with law enforcement -- or so he thinks. Along with his best friend and fellow police officer, Jalard is set to turn in his badge and run a hotel in the sunny Caribbean. But Jalard's retirement plans are put on hold when his business partner is killed by murderer Charly Schneider (Jean-Pierre Malo). After taking in his friend's orphaned son, Jalard embarks on a whole new plan for the future: Get back on the job, and get Schneider.
