Academy Award winner Olivia de Havilland stars with Dirk Bogarde as the wife of a young English aristocrat and World War II veteran who must prove he is who he claims in the drama Libel. Wealthy, privileged and happily married, Sir Mark Sebastian (Bogarde--Death in Venice) suddenly finds his life thrown into turmoil when a man with whom Sebastian served as a prisoner of war claims that Sebastian is really Frank Welney, another prisoner who bore a striking resemblance to Sebastian. Now, as he suddenly finds his identity questioned in a court of law, are Sebastian's memory lapses due to head injuries from the war, or is he really an imposter who's assumed a wealthy man's identity?
