Mermaid

Doug, an awkward Florida drug addict, is divorced, jobless, and spiraling. After losing his aquarium job at a strip club, he takes his boat into the Gulf to end it all—only to discover an injured mermaid. Seeing her as a sign, he hides her in his tub and nurses her back to health. When his secret spreads, Doug must protect her at any cost.
