Mother's Pride

Following Cal Harley, a fading star haunted by his past success. Returning to his hometown, he faces a family still grieving his mother’s death and their beloved pub on the brink of closure. To make matters worse, Cal’s old rival, Pritchard, thrives with a bustling pub across the street and is now in a relationship with Cal’s first love, Abi. Cal uncovers a long-forgotten family ritual – Brewing Beer. Through re-learning the process with his brother and niece, he gradually regains his confidence and his voice. Armed with both music and craft, he sets out to challenge Pritchard in the prestigious CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) awards, all while trying to win back Abbie with his heartfelt songs written just for her. As melodies mingle with hops, can Cal mend his broken family ties, reclaim his lost love, and rediscover himself? After all, if music is the food of love, surely it needs a perfect pint to wash it down with?
