Preoccupied, Max leaves for his house on the seaside to decompress. His friends, whom he hasn’t seen for more than three years, show up by surprise to celebrate his birthday. The surprise is real, but the welcome they receive is much smaller. Max then settles for fictitious happiness, which places group members in unexpected situations.
