Open Season

The Fielding company is responsible for calculating the all-important aspect of show business known as television ratings. Due to a computer error, Fielding reports that lowly Public Broadcasting Television is the most popular network in America, much to the pleasure of station executive Stuart Sain (Robert Wuhl). George Plunkett (Gailard Sartain), the head of a trashy network, then tries to take PBT down, and Stuart tries to cover up the oversight that put his station at the top of the ratings.
