Cass hustles jobs as a server, nanny and party drug dealer to make rent on their San Francisco apartment. When they agree to babysit the 11-year-old daughter of a crush from work, Cass hopes it might lead to something more. But when their crush fails to return, Cass's memories of their own difficult childhood begin to resurface.
