Path To War is a powerful portrait of a political leader facing the burden of responsibility as he makes strategic and military decisions that effect the lives of thousands. Elected President in a landslide victory in 1964, Lyndon B. Johnson was a man of conscience who aspired to be remembered for his progressive social agenda. Instead, he became the symbol of an unpopular war that he never wanted to wage.
