World-weary gunslinger Steve Sinclair (Rod Taylor) receives a plot of land to ranch ... with the condition that he control his younger brother Tony's violence. But the young gunslinger enjoys killing and believes his prowess with a six-gun makes him more of a man in the eyes of the saloon girl he desires. And the different aspirations of the two brothers fuels a sibling rivalry that explodes into violence.
