War is being waged on the Amazon forest. Filmmaker Michal Siewierski embarks on an audacious journey to expose the connection between the Amazon forest fires and our food choices. "Takeout” is a feature length documentary focused on exposing the tragedy of the Amazon forest fires and its connection to the global animal food production systems as well as to our individual food choices. The film also exposes the corruption in Brazil’s government and shows how industry shapes the politics related to agribusiness both in South America and in the US.
