When Bob suddenly collapses, a hospital visit leaves him with life-altering news-- he has terminal cancer. Having lived through the long, drawn out suffering of his late wife’s illness, Bob decides he wants to end his life on his own terms. The only thing thawing his exit strategy is his son, and a town determined not to let him ruin their tourism season. Bob must navigate his battle with a terminal illness while gaining the support of his son, making peace with old neighbors, and overcoming the backlash of his community before he can realize his plan of death by cocktails and cold temperature.
