The Painted Trail

Former U.S. Marshal Tom Gray (Tom Keene) is transferred to the Southwest, where the federal government instructs him to break up a massive smuggling ring operating near the Texas-Mexico border. After arriving in the sleepy town of Laredo, Texas, Gray promptly falls for charming local Alice Banning (Eleanor Stewart). As his team of marshals closes in on its criminal targets, Gray must go undercover as a member of the vicious Prescott (LeRoy Mason) and Driscoll (Walter Long) gang.
