Ugly Sweater

Ruby, a gifted high school senior determined to study astrophysics at an Ivy League university, begins having vivid nightmares after her best friend, Alice, gives her a thrifted Christmas sweater. The dreams expose her deep anxiety and fear of failure, spilling into her waking life as she pushes Alice, her boyfriend, and her sister away in her pursuit of perfection. A year later, Ruby returns home to find her friendships fractured.
