We Are the Radical Monarchs

Set in Oakland, a city with a deep history of social justice movements, the film follows Troop 1 of the Radical Monarchs, a group for girls of color. Its members earn badges for completing units on Radical Pride, Black Lives Matter, Radical Beauty, and Disability Justice. Started by queer women of color, the group empowers girls to make the world a more just and joyful place. From Tribeca Films.
