Abby Brammell

An American TV and theater actress, Abby Brammell began appearing on various television series in 2002, first on the drama "Glory Days" and then on the hit crime-thriller "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." That same year, she landed her first recurring role, appearing as a key supporting character on four episodes of the mystery "Push, Nevada." After three episodes as the character Persis on "Star Trek: Enterprise," Brammell began gaining steady momentum. Her '05 output included four episodes on the FX police thriller "The Shield" as Sara Frazier, as well as another four episodes on the acclaimed drama "Six Feet Under," Alan Ball's take on life, death, and relationships in a contemporary funeral parlor. Then, in '06, Brammel earned her most ambitious role, as Tiffy Gerhardt on the war thriller "The Unit." Over 69 episodes and four seasons, Gerhardt played the wife of Mack Gerhardt (Max Martini), a Master Sergeant in the Army and leader of a special action team, and the mother of their two children. During the series, the couple had a strained relationship, and Tiffy was frequently unfaithful. In '09, Brammell appeared on episodes of shows of a similar genre--the crime thriller "The Mentalist," the supernatural mystery series "Medium," and the crime drama "Lie to Me."
