Alexander Fehling

German actor Alexander Fehling began his professional career working in television in his native land in the mid-2000s. His first break came in 2008 when he played the key supporting role of Morten Schwarzkopf in a film adaptation of Thomas Mann's classic novel "Buddenbrooks." The following year, Fehling appeared in Quentin Tarantino's World War II fantasia "Inglourious Basterds" before making the leap to top billing with the title role of poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in the historical romance "Young Goethe in Love." In 2011, he played a very different historical figure as 1970s terrorist Andreas Baader in the drama "If Not Us, Who?," also starring August Diehl.
