Native American actress Amber Midthunder appeared in human trafficking drama "Priceless" (2016) and Oscar-nominated Best Picture "Hell or High Water" (2016) before landing the recurring role of savant Kerry Loudermilk in the acclaimed superhero series "Legion" (FX, 2017-). Born in Montana, Midthunder followed in her casting director mother and actor father's showbiz footsteps from a young age, making her screen debut in the gangster B-movie "The Homecoming of Jimmy Whitecloud" (2001) at just ten years old. Twelve months later she played a tribe member in expedition thriller "Deadly Species" (2002), but had to wait another six years before she landed her first speaking part as a candy store assistant in Sundance hit "Sunshine Cleaning" (2008). Midthunder then played a student in Presidential election drama "Swing Vote" (2008) and portrayed a young Paz Vega in indie thriller "Not Forgotten" (2009) before both directing and starring in short films "Don't" (2013) and "#nightslikethese" (2013). After showing up as a model in Native American drama "Drunktown's Finest" (2013), Midthunder played ill-fated Kinaho tribe girl Lana Cleary in the enigmatic crime thriller "Banshee" (Cinemax, 2013-16) and reprised the pilot episode role of Lilly Stillwater for a third season guest spot on neo-western "Longmire" (A&E, 2012-17). Midthunder then enjoyed minor roles in "Spare Parts" (2015), the true story of a Latino high school's attempts to win a robotics competition, small desert town tale "Bare" (2015) and the four-time Academy Award nominee "Hell or High Water" (2016), and guested as werewolf Kayla on supernatural spin-off "The Originals" (The CW, 2013-) and as Starlet on Jerusalem-based conspiracy drama "Dig" (USA Network, 2015). After landing the role of human trafficking victim Maria in faith-based drama "Priceless" (2016), Midthunder was cast as savant Kerry Loudermilk in "Legion" (FX, 2017-). During her spell on the hit superhero show, she also enjoyed the leading role of Danielle in dark web horror "14 Cameras" (2018) and played Honey in road trip mystery "Highway" (2018).
