Andrés Roca Rey

Andrés Roca Rey is a Peruvian matador. The film director Albert Serra has created a 2024 documentary film on him called Afternoons of Solitude which was awarded the Feroz Zinemaldia Award and the Golden Shell for best film at the San Sebastián International Film Festival in 2024. In 2021, Christopher North conducted an English language interview with Andrés Roca for The Critic magazine, stating that Andrés Roca is arguably the best torero in the world now.
