Anna Belknap

Actress Anna Belknap has worked extensively in television, most notably on the police series "CSI: NY." Born, in Damariscotta, Maine, Belknap attended Middlebury College in Vermont. After graduation, she went on to earn a Master's in acting from the American Conservatory Theater. Her first role was on the award-winning cop show "Homicide: Life on the Street" in 1996, the first of many television roles. Belknap's credits include series regular roles on "Medical Investigation" and the FBI show "The Handler." She appeared in four episodes of the newspaper drama "Deadline," and guest-starred on numerous procedural dramas including "Law & Order." In 2005 Belknap scored the most notable role of her career on the CBS forensic series "CSI: NY." She joined the cast in the second season as Detective Lindsay Monroe, junior detective and love interest of Danny Messer. In addition to her work onscreen, Belknap has worked on stage in Off-Broadway productions, and is a member of the Rude Mechanicals Theater Company in New York.
