Barbara Title

Independent producer, mostly of made-for-TV films, who moved in the late 1980s into executive positions at Viacom Pictures Inc. As director of HBO Premiere Films, Title was involved with such productions as "The Far Pavilions" (HBO's first mini-series) and "Sakharov" (both 1984). She joined Viacom through its Showtime Networks Inc. unit and was later promoted to vice president and senior vice president of Viacom Pictures Inc., overseeing such TV movies as "Payoff" and the critically acclaimed "Paris Trout" (both 1991). In 1994, Title formed Maintitle Productions but within two years had joined Bonneville Worldwide Entertainment as senior vice president of production.
