Carol Wayne
Carol Wayne worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Wayne jump started her acting career in comedies like "Gunn" (1967) with Craig Stevens and "The Party" (1968). She also appeared in the TV movie "Every Man Needs One" (1972-73). Wayne worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Mantrap" (1971-72). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the seventies, appearing on "The Midnight Special" (1972-1981) and "Celebrity Sweepstakes" (1973-76). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Celebrity Challenge of the Sexes" (1978-79) and "Heaven on Earth" (1978-79). Wayne focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Mark Miller adventure "Savannah Smiles" (1982) and the drama "Heartbreakers" (1984) with Peter Coyote. She also was featured in the TV movie "The Big Black Pill" (1980-81). Wayne last acted in "Surf II" (1984). Carol Wayne passed away in January 1985 at the age of 43.
