Christie Clark

Film and television actress Christie Clark is best known for her role as Carrie Brady on the daytime soap opera "Days of Our Lives." Born in Los Angeles, Clark's first acting role came as a teenager in the horror film "A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge" in 1985. The following year, she was cast as Carrie Brady in the long-running NBC soap "Days of Our Lives," a role she has played off and on for over 25 years, having appeared in over 300 episodes. For her performances as Carrie Brady, she was nominated twice for an Outstanding Younger Actress Award at the Daytime Emmys and four times for a Young Artist Award. When not on "Days of Our Lives," Clark co-starred in the TV movie "Ask Max" with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and appeared in the acclaimed sitcom "It's Garry Shandling's Show." After being featured in the 1990 NBC drama "Hull High," she had a lead role the following year in the TV movie "Changes," with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Clark co-starred in another prominent horror sequel in 1992 when she played Lacey in "Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice." The same year, she appeared in the soap operas "Life Goes On" and "General Hospital." Clark also reprised her Carrie Brady character for the TV movies "Night Sins" in 1993 and "Winter Heat" in 1994.
