Clark Gillies

Clark Gillies was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played for the New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League between 1974 and 1988. From 1975 to 1979, Gillies recorded four straight 30-goal seasons; from 1977 to 1979, he also served as captain of the Islanders before delegating the responsibility to Denis Potvin.
