Claudio Cassinelli
Claudio Cassinelli was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Cassinelli landed roles in various films, including "China Is Near" (1968), "Passato Remoto" (1971) and "Allonsanfan" (1974). He also appeared in "La Prima volta sull'Erba" (1975) and "Gli Ultimi Tre Giorni" (1977). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies and the eighties, appearing in "La Montagna del dio Cannibale" (1978), the spy thriller "Avalanche Express" (1979) with Robert Shaw and "L' Isola degli uomini Pesce" (1979). He also appeared in "Assassinio al cimitero Etrusco" (1983) and "Grog" (1983). In the latter part of his career, he continued to act in the Lou Ferrigno action movie "Hercules" (1983), "Hercules II" (1983) and the Jared Martin action picture "Rome, 2072 A.D. - The New Gladiators" (1983). He also appeared in the Daniel Greene action film "Hands of Steel" (1986). Cassinelli was most recently credited in "Un Caso di Incoscienza" (1989) with Erland Josephson. Cassinelli passed away in July 1985 at the age of 47.
