Mac is torn between trusting science or his desire to help a man facing jail time who swears he's innocent. Also, when a truck kills a barely clad woman early one morning, the team investigates why she was running through the streets and from whom.

When a woman disappears in the aftermath of an office shooting, the team discovers a secret that may have caused her to go on the run.

The team utilizes Sophe to track a killer who is targeting online celebrities and broadcasting their final moments on a live streaming platform. Also, within 24 hours, Sara will know if she is legally allowed to work with Tanner and Sophe or forever banned from the platform.
