As five new survivalists begin their first days in the Mackenzie River Delta they are met with an abundance of challenges in the uncharted Arctic terrain. When opportunity presents itself to the participants, will they be able to capitalize on the moment? One participant loses a critical item while another embarks on the hunt of a lifetime.

As the survivalists enter the second week of the competition, new challenges and opportunities arise while they battle to maintain focus. As some participants get raided by unwelcome visitors, one survivalist gets another chance at the shot of a lifetime.

The Arctic's frozen landscape continues to push the remaining survivalists to the brink. One participant finds themselves at-risk for frostbite, while another is convinced the end days are near.

With new weather patterns looming, the days are numbered for those counting on foraging to pull them through.

With the competition in its final stage, only one survivalist's resolve can secure them the $500,000 prize. As the temperature dips well below freezing, the river stops paying dividends.
