Héctor Jiménez

Before his uproarious breakthrough performance in Jared Hess' wrestling farce "Nacho Libre," Hispanic funnyman Héctor Jiménez cut his teeth as member of a Tijuana theater company. Though he went on to garner bit parts in Mexican productions like the period war drama "Innocent Voices" in 2004, it was opposite Jack Black that he first showcased his comic chops. The duo played partners in "Nacho Libre," and were co-nominated for Best Fight at the MTV Movie Awards the following year. Jiménez also received two Teen Choice Award nominations for the film. Pop culture satirists Jason Friedberg and Adam Seltzer took note, casting him as a Narnian faun in their 2007 laffer, "Epic Movie." That year, Jiménez also played a clerk in the middle age motorcycle comedy "Wild Hogs," and made an appearance on the bizzaro children's show "Yo Gabba Gabba!" as a dancing jellyfish (go figure). Jiménez showed off his dramatic side as a wounded man in the acclaimed indie "Sin Nombre" in 2009 before reteaming with Hess for the even more outlandish "Gentleman Broncos." In 2010, Jiménez landed a supporting role in the small screen B-movie "Sharktopus," and returned to his native Mexico the following year for the irreverent comedy "Pastorela."
