A runaway girl is found by Mr. Cousin but when Earp investigates the family who adopted her, he decides she should not be returned to it.

Earp is appointed chairman of a baby contest run by the local women. When a poor woman with a baby arrives in town, Earp enters her in the contest but finds a hidden rule may ruin the plans.
