Jack Manning

Jack Manning's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Manning's acting career began with roles in action films like the Calvin Lockhart film "Melinda" (1972) and "The Great Northfield, Minnesota Raid" (1972) starring Cliff Robertson. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Emergency!" (NBC, 1971-79). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies, appearing in "The Thief Who Came to Dinner" (1973) with Ryan O'Neal, the Bob Crane comedy "Superdad" (1974) and the Robert Redford dramatic adventure "The Great Waldo Pepper" (1975). He also appeared in the TV special "Pssst! Hammerman's After You!" (ABC, 1973-74). During the latter part of his career, he continued to act in the Jessica Lange biopic drama "Frances" (1982), "That's Adequate" (1989) and the Stacy Keach action movie "False Identity" (1990). Manning more recently acted on "Mr. Show" (HBO, 1995-99).
