Jack McGowan

Jack McGowan brought many screenplays to Hollywood throughout the course of his Hollywood career. McGowan began his writing career for film with such titles as "Sitting Pretty" (1933) with Jack Oakie, the musical "Born to Dance" (1936) with Eleanor Powell and the musical "Broadway Melody of 1936" (1936) with Jack Benny. McGowan last worked on "Broadway Rhythm" (1944) with Ginny Simms. McGowan passed away in May 1977 at the age of 83.
