Jack Quaid

Referred to in Collins' novel and in the film as "tributes," the game's young participants are plucked from their homes and forced to compete in the annual bloodshed for a chance to win a lifetime supply of food for their families. Quaid's character, Marvel, was part of a group of tributes called the "Careers," children who spend their lifetime training for the Hunger Games and actually volunteer to participate. An expert spear thrower, Quaid's character was a strong and ruthless tribute that spared no one in his quest to win. The film starred Jennifer Lawrence as the film's unwilling and tough-as-nails heroine Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year-old tribute who volunteered to compete in place of her younger sister.
