Jamie Clayton

Jamie Clayton was an American actor born in San Diego, California. Clayton, a transgender woman, moved to New York City at age 19 to begin a career as a makeup artist. Clayton did not begin acting until after she appeared on the reality show "TRANSform Me" (VH1, 2010) as the co-host of a team of trans women tasked with making over a cisgender woman. Clayton then landed a recurring role on the third and final season of "Hung" (HBO, 2009-2011). Clayton's big break came in the form of a starring role on the Wachowski sci-fi series "Sense8" (Netflix, 2015-17); Clayton portrayed Nomi Marks, a trans woman hacker and blogger. She made an appearance in the horror film "The Neon Demon" (2016), and also lent her voice to a character in the video game "Mass Effect: Andromeda" (2017). After landing a starring role on "The L Word: Generation Q" (Showtime, 2019-23), Clayton portrayed the iconic Priest in the horror reboot "Hellraiser" (2022).
