A present-day couple buy an antique, table with a large "I" branded on it and are curious to learn about its origins. The story focuses on Charles' efforts to patent the table and have it mass-produced. However, a ruthless businessman is successful in a bid to steal the patent and snare an ill-gotten profit, forcing Charles to realize that his family, and not the tables, are his greatest legacy.

Jonathan and Mark assist a young country singer who is hoping to follow in her mother's footsteps. Next, they help a widow mourning her late husband.

A 12-year-old boy named Dylan has leukemia and has only been given a few weeks to live. His only dream is to see the Pacific Ocean, and when his overprotective mother is too afraid to take him, Laura and Albert decide to help him get there.

The Beaudrys return to Hazzard to swipe Boss Hogg's still since their's blew up. But to get Boss out of the way, they frame him of sabotaging Jesse's car in the old timer's race when his car flips over. Rosco throws Boss in the slammer while the Beaudreys steal Boss' still.

Daisy (CATHERINE BACH) learns that leaving the Dukes and living independently can lead to dire results, including forced matrimony.
