Leah Renee

From voice work on popular animated kids shows to co-starring in a "Playboy"-based series, beautiful Canadian Leah Renee has managed to try virtually anything once in her career. As a youngster, she appeared in a variety of small TV roles on largely forgotten series like the comedies "Stickin' Around" and "I Was a Sixth Grade Alien." In 1997, she scored a long-running gig voicing Beaver on the charming animated kids show "Franklin," which featured the adventures of the adorable title turtle. The part lasted until 2004 (with 34 total episodes), but it was clear that the blossoming young actress--with her dashing looks and versatile skills--would also fare well in live-action work. She found a home on various shows throughout the next few years, including short-lived stints on the dramas "Runaway" and "M.V.P.." While most of those performances (and the shows themselves) were largely ignored at the time, Renee made a sizeable splash in the industry as she joined the cast of "The Playboy Club," which focuses on the lives of numerous "Bunnies" working at the Playboy Club in Chicago. Despite her busy acting schedule, Renee has also found time to pursue a music career, and she released her debut album, "Storybook," in 2009.
