Manuela Arcuri

Drawn to show business at an early age, Italian actress, model, and sex symbol Manuela Arcuri made her film debut at age 18 in Leonardo Pieraccioni's college comedy "The Graduates." After a stint modeling and a brief time studying at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica in Rome, the starlet began attracting the public's attention with her roles in features such as "Bagnomaria" in 1999,"Mad Love" in 2001, and the 2002 TV series "Carabinieri." After stretching her dramatic skills in the 2003 Spanish thriller "The Witch Affair," Arcuri next made waves in the acclaimed made-for-TV drama "Madame," and from there she dominated Italian television in the movies "Imperia, la grande cortigiana," "Carabinieri: Sotto copertura," and "L'onore e il rispetto," as well as the series "Io non dimentico," "Mogli a pezzi," and "Il peccato e la vergogna," among others. During the early 2000s, Arcuri became not only a television but a tabloid regular, as the gossip columnists linked her romantically with many different celebrities, among them football player Francesco Totti and fencer Aldo Montano. The brunette Italian beauty is known in her native land as the face and body of Lormar lingerie, and in 2007 was chosen by Prince to star as a dream girl in his music video for "Somewhere Here on Earth."
