Ten designers from across Australia must transform two family homes in just five days.

The 10 designers rush to complete the renovations of their family homes with less than 48 hours to finish the bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces; they face the judges and one designer will be eliminated from the $100,000 competition.

After the first dramatic elimination, the nine remaining designers realize just how hard the competition is going to be; they meet their new clients and have to completely make over two families' homes in just five days.

The designers are now down to two teams of three, but they still have the same challenge ahead.

With time running out, there is less than 48 hours to complete the kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces; budget pressures take their toll.

The boys are rushing to complete their renovations before the final deadline; with just hours to go, they ask the girls for an extension and the response shows just how cutthroat the competition is becoming.
