Nichole Sakura

Nichole Bloom was born Nichole Sakura O'Connor in Santa Clara County, CA. She majored in theater at the University of Southern California, from which she graduated after only three years. Bloom began acting almost immediately afterward, starring in a number of short films including "Special Delivery II" (2010), "Everyday." (2010), and "Carpool" (2011). She made her feature debut in the found-footage party movie "Project X" (2012), which she followed up with the far more dramatic "Model Minority" (2012). Bloom tried her hand at directing and screenwriting with the short film "Kiko in America" (2013), in which she also starred. Upon shifting gears to television, Bloom appeared briefly on series like "Teen Wolf" (MTV 2011-) and "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC 2005). However, she landed a substantial recurring role on the dramedy program "Shameless" (Showtime 2011-), playing Amanda, a romantic interest to Jeremy Allen White's main character Lip. After appearing in the Lake Bell-starring romantic comedy "Man Up" (2015), Bloom landed a costarring role on the sitcom "Superstore" (NBC 2015-), playing the pregnant big-box store employee Cheyenne Tyler Lee.
