At age seven, Rachel Jacobs got her start in the world of acting. She also appeared in the TV movie "The Kid With the Broken Halo" (NBC, 1981-82). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" (1977-78), "Dear Teacher" (NBC, 1980-81) and "How to Eat Like a Kid" (NBC, 1981-82). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "13 Queens Boulevard" (ABC, 1978-79) and "Maggie" (ABC, 1981-82). She continued to work steadily in sitcoms throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing on "It's Not Easy" (ABC, 1983-84) and "Boy Meets World" (ABC, 1993-2000). She also appeared in the TV special "No Means No" (CBS, 1988-89). She also starred in the TV movies "Who Will Love My Children?" (ABC, 1982-83) and "14 Going on 30" (ABC, 1987-88). She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "It's Not Easy" (ABC, 1983-84) and "Boy Meets World" (ABC, 1993-2000). Recently, she tackled roles on "Spin City" (1996-2002) and "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime, 1999-2005). She also held acting roles in films like the adventurous drama "The Pigeon Egg Strategy" (1997) with Anthony DiMaria and the Renee Zellweger smash hit crime adaptation "Chicago" (2002). Jacobs most recently acted on "L.A. Dragnet" (2002-04).
