A geologist is killed after he claims to have found the lost treasure of Hayes Cooper, a Wild West Texas Ranger. Walker tells Trivette the story of the treasure as they investigate. Walker gets bit by a rattlesnake and has dreams of Cooper.

A boy from a broken home wants to impress his father by stealing drugs. But the drug dealers are now after him and Walker helps him. Also, Trivet and Walker find the men who robbed a store and shot one of the employees.

An ex-con (Hulk Hogan) attempts to unite a racially divided neighborhood with the help of the Rangers, but their efforts are continually thwarted by a ruthless drug dealer.

An undercover cop is found out by his drug-lord boss, and his demise is witnessed by a deaf girl whose father is an Elvis impersonator.
