Seth Gilliam

Seth Gilliam got his start in the world of acting at the ripe age of 16. Gilliam began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the dramatic comedy "Joey Breaker" (1993) with Richard Edson, the Frankie Faison period drama "Heading Home" (1995) and the historical love story "Jefferson in Paris" (1995) with Nick Nolte. He also appeared in "Courage Under Fire" (1996) with Denzel Washington and "Starship Troopers" (1997). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the drama "Tar" (1997) with Kevin Thigpen, "Punks" (2001) and "The Great New Wonderful" (2006) with Tony Shalhoub. He shifted from film to television work through the 2010s, appearing on "The Walking Dead" (2010-), "Teen Wolf" (MTV, 2011-16) and "Homeland" (Showtime, 2011-). He also appeared in "Elementary" (CBS, 2012-). Most recently, Gilliam acted in the Julianne Moore dramatic adaptation "Still Alice" (2014). Gilliam was married to Leah Gardiner.
