Stephanie Charles

Stephanie Charles nabbed her first on screen role as a cheerleader in 1997 on the NBC teen sitcom "City Guys" (NBC, 1997-2001). That same year she landed her first recurring role on The WB sitcom "The Parent 'Hood" (The WBC, 1995-99). Charles played Jamie on five episodes of the series, which starred the comedian, actor and director, Robert Townsend. After a successful early run, Charles took a break from screen acting in 1999. She returned seven years later in 2006 with a guest spot on the long-running medical drama "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009). She would continue nabbing parts on TV shows and short films over the next several years, most notably with guest spots on "Bones" (Fox, 2005-2017) and "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-). With her acting career steadily gaining steam, Charles had a breakout year in 2015 with roles in four feature length films: "Adulterers," "Bound for Vengeance," "Reggie Gaskins' Urban Love Story," and "Wingman Inc." Then in 2017 she joined the cast of the webseries "The Loonies" (2017). Charles played Stevie on the Internet series. In 2018 Charles' acting career took another leap forward when she was cast in the spin-off comedy series "The Paynes" (TBS, 2018-). The show, which was produced by Tyler Perry, was a spin-off of Perry's previous sitcom "House of Payne" (Syndication/TBS, 2006-2012).
