Derek battles fluid leaks and bad brakes just to get the Turd Bird back to Vice Grip Garage; he tears the car down, blasts it clean, and gives it a new life with a modern touch; but it'll take an awful lot of elbow grease to make this one shine.

Derek heads to Lompoc, Calif., where he's found a 1940 Chevrolet gasser; David Freiburger helps sort through the car's long list of issues, with the hope of squaring up in an old-school-style drag race against Freiburger's '56 Field Car.
