Intelligent, hard working and tough, first year associate Martina Garretti is recruited from New Jersey to work at an upscale Manhattan law firm where the cultural landscape demands all of her survival skills. What she lacks in a prestigious education, Martina more than makes up for in street smarts. Martina must scratch out a life for herself between the platinum set of attorneys she works with and the boisterous working class tribe she comes from.
