A plain woman (Tina Louise in a dual role) arrives to hide from men.

Lucy hires Richard Burton (who is disguised as a plumber) to fix her leaking tap. She accidentally gets Elizabeth Taylor's famous ring stuck on her finger and winds up substituting her left arm for Liz's at the Burton's banquet later that evening.

Ann dreads bad reviews of her opening night on Broadway, and all this anxiety gets her finger trapped in a kitchen faucet.
