“Bozhoo. Many know me as the ‘Water Protector’ or Chief Water Commissioner for Anishinabek Nation. Or a kid who gave the Prime Minister of Canada a piece of her mind in person. I’m also a 17-year-old girl who always wants to chill with positive, happy vibes and connect with all sorts of arts and culture. To protect Mother Earth and the water is the core of my work and it runs through all of the media I engage with. My team’s Indigenous content hub Seeing Red 6Nations helps me increase representation and cultural accuracy of Indigenous people in all forms of content. It’s important to connect, and I hope to connect you to some of my favourites too.”
