A Little Princess

Prior to entering the British Army, Capt. Crewe makes sure his daughter, Sara, is well cared for in a London boarding school; when bad news finds Capt. Crewe back in India, his life takes a turn for the worse.

As Sara becomes acquainted with her new school, her father's fever worsens back in India, and his regret deepens; during Sara's luxurious birthday party, she receives bad tidings, altering the course of her life forever.

Sara's outlook on life begins to change to reflect her new role in life and at the boarding school; Sara learns to endure the hardship that has transpired.

It is Christmastime in London, but Sara struggles to summon the cheer she used to have for such occasions; a new neighbor moves in next door to Sara.

Sara learns the hard way that generosity is not always repaid with kindness, but that does not stop Sara from conducting herself in the manner she is accustomed to.

Sara's life suddenly looks brighter after a secret friend's generosity; Sara finds herself on a whole new track in life.
