Strathmore Estate

We are going roebuck hunting in the very varied and beautiful Scotland. Strathmore estate covers more than 5.700 hectares and harbours a dense population of roe deer and bucks with trophies in all qualities. The centre of the terrain is historic Glamis Castle.

Strathmore Estate consists of both farmland, forest and heather-clad highland. The very different types of landscapes ensure a great variation in hunting techniques as well as in the quality of the trophies. We accompany Mikkel on his exciting hunt for a truly top trophy head of a Scottish roebuck. His friend, Jens, is also hunting in these both cultivated and very wild landscapes, which gives additional challenges. In the breaks between hunting roebucks morning and evening the two hunters visit a famous distillery which produces a very famous single malt whiskey.
