After spending time healing in Vestoria, Drago makes his heroic return to Dan and the Awesome Brawlers. Missing their Bakugan, the Awesome Brawlers decide to head into the maze to visit their healing partners. Something goes wrong with the mobile gate, and the Awesome Brawlers find themselves facing off with some strange new Bakugan.

Lia and her new Bakugan find themselves in a bit of trouble after a run in with an old enemy. The Awesome Brawlers meet Crystal Blue.

Ajit, Lia and Lighting have a run in with Strata, the Bakugan hunter. Strata is quick to attack, it's up to Ajit to motivate his new partner, Pincitaur to rise up and Bakugan Brawl!. McQ is after new state of the art Kazami tech! But McQ will have to get through Shun and his new partner Sharktar if he wants to complete this heist.

There's a new girl in town, Jenny Hackett, who takes a liking to Wynton, and his work on the new Mobile Gate. Wynton welcomes the enthusiasm, but his new Bakugan, Falcron is suspicious of Hackett's motives. Emily finds herself in trouble when Strata tries to force her into a Bakugan Brawl for entertainment.

Drago and the Awesome Brawlers track a stolen core cell to the estate of a wealthy Bakugan collector, Gregorious Reed.

The Awesome Brawlers have a run in with Crystal Blue, Everett and Strata; an AAAnimus Security Force vehicle is hijacked.
